			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This beautiful and only living <strong>fort </strong>of India was founded in 12th century  by <strong>Maharawal Jaisal</strong>.<a href="http://www.tourismjaisalmer.org"><img src="http://www.tourismjaisalmer.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/Fort.jpg" alt="Fort" title="Fort" width="150" style="padding-left:13px;" height="111" class="alignright size-full wp-image-333" /></a>It is the ninth and the last capital of Bhatti Rajput rulers who were the descendants of <strong>Lord Krishna&#8217;s</strong> clan.It is famous for its prestigious history, unique beauty and Johar which was one of the bravest and courageous  act of Women of <strong><a href="http://www.tourismjaisalmer.org">Rajasthan </a></strong>to maintain their pride and prestige.The <strong>fort </strong>is the second oldest in <strong><a href="http://www.tourismjaipur.org">Rajasthan</a></strong>.It was constructed on a triangular hill and stands  250 feet above the surrounding ground.No any cement, lime powder,mortar or clay has been used in the construction of fort.Solid blocks of yellow lime stone have been used for a buttress wall,15 feet high round the hill.This fort has seen  many wars and battles.There are 99 circular bastions,three massive walls and five big canons guards the fort.One has to pass through four gates to reach the main courtyard of the fort where one feels himself in the past royal days.There are many palaces, temples, wells inside the fort.Every single house of the fort is a monument in itself.There are 5000 people residing in the walls of fort with all modern facilities</p>
